Section 4
Address Autocomplete (Google Maps and Google Places)
Our website may use Google Maps and Google Places address autocomplete on our quote request form. When you begin typing your address, the characters you type may be sent to Google so that Google can suggest matching addresses.

Where Google provides it, we may receive the formatted address, street number and street name, city, province, postal code, country, approximate coordinates (latitude and longitude), and a Google Place identifier for the address you select.
Google's own privacy practices and terms apply to Google's services. We use this information to prepare quotes, schedule service, and route our technicians.

This information may also be used to assess pest issues, recommend treatment options, support warranty or callback decisions, and comply with regulatory, insurance, or safety requirements.
Section 10
Marketing Use of Property Photos and Videos
There is an important difference between service documentation and identifiable marketing use.
Service documentation is part of providing pest control service and maintaining accurate records. Identifiable marketing use means publicly showing content that reasonably identifies you, your household, another identifiable person, or your property.
We may wish to use suitable photos or video for website content, social media, online advertising, educational content, promotional videos, before-and-after examples, and printed marketing.
Hiring Hoplon Pest Control Ltd. does not by itself give us unrestricted permission to publicly advertise using identifiable customer or property content.
Where marketing material reasonably identifies a customer, occupants, another identifiable person, an exact property address, a house number, a licence plate, private documents, or other identifying details, we will obtain appropriate permission before publicly using that identifiable material for marketing.
Where content does not reasonably identify the customer, occupants, or property, we may use appropriately anonymized, cropped, de-identified, or obscured content for legitimate marketing or educational purposes where permitted.
Section 11
Optional Photo and Video Marketing Permission
Marketing permission is kept separate from service-related photo documentation. We do not ask for marketing permission on our quote request form.
Where we ask for it, optional marketing permission will be presented separately and will read substantially as follows: "I authorize Hoplon Pest Control Ltd. to use photographs or video captured at my property for marketing, advertising, social media, website, educational and promotional purposes."
Declining optional marketing permission will not prevent you from receiving pest control service.
Section 12
Privacy Precautions at Your Property
Where reasonable, we will try not to unnecessarily capture or publicly display things that are not relevant to the purpose of the content, such as:
- Occupant faces
- Children
- Private documents
- Family photos
- Computer screens
- Financial information
- Security-system information
- Licence plates
- House numbers and address information
Section 13
Consent and Withdrawal of Consent
By providing personal information to us, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of that information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
You may withdraw your consent to optional uses of your personal information at any time, subject to applicable legal, contractual, regulatory, and operational limitations. If you withdraw consent for information we need in order to provide a service, we may not be able to provide that service.
Declining or withdrawing permission for identifiable photo or video marketing will not prevent you from receiving pest control service.
If marketing content has already been published, we will take reasonable steps regarding future use of that content after a valid withdrawal request. We cannot promise that every historical copy can be removed from third-party platforms, reshared posts, or previously distributed materials.
Section 14
How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, or alteration.
These steps may include password-protected systems, limited access to customer information, reputable software providers, secure payment processors, internal recordkeeping procedures, and reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards.
No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Section 15
Retention of Information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service records, customer support, legal compliance, insurance, accounting, tax, warranty, and regulatory purposes.
When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy, or anonymize it.
Section 16
Accessing or Correcting Your Information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.
Section 17

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, booking pages, payment pages, social media platforms, or advertising platforms.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party websites. You should review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
Section 18

Our services are intended for homeowners, tenants, property managers, landlords, and other adults seeking pest control services.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Section 19

Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
